Abdelghani Boussetta is an assistant professor specializing in biobased and sustainable materials at Sultan Moulay Slimane University Morocco. He earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the same university, where he conducted research at the Laboratory of Chemical Processes and Applied Materials. Previously, he served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Material Science, Energy, and Nano-Engineering (MSN) department at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University Morocco, where he was actively engaged in developing a biobased separator for lithium-ion batteries. His research focuses on the development and application of innovative biobased materials, with significant experience in chemical modification of biopolymers for formulating bio-based films and bio-based wood adhesives. Professor Boussetta explores the potential of these materials across diverse applications, aiming to promote sustainability in industries such as packaging, construction, and environmental management.
