Afaf Ghais Abadi Ahmed

Dr. Afaf Ghais Abadi Ahmed is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering with over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership in Oman and Sudan. She is currently based at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Suhar. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Computational and Industrial Mathematics. Her research interests include green hydrogen production, hydrogen storage materials, high entropy alloys, and sustainable reuse of industrial waste. Dr. Afaf has served as a principal investigator and research member on nationally and internationally funded projects and has published in peer‑reviewed journals. She is actively engaged in accreditation, quality assurance, curriculum development, and academic advising, with a strong commitment to advancing sustainable engineering education.
