Javier Martí-Rujas

Title of lecture: New structural properties and host-guest chemistry of M12L8 polycatenanes.

Javier Martí-Rujas has been Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano since 2018. He obtained his Ph.D. in solid state chemistry at Cardiff University with Prof. Kenneth D.M. Harris in 2005. After postdoctoral periods at Georgetown University (2006) and Cardiff University (2007), he moved as JSPS fellow to The University of Tokyo in the group of Prof. Makoto Fujita (2008-2010). Then he joined as a Senior Postdoctoral (2010-2012) and promoted to Researcher (2013-2017) at the Center for Nano Science and Technology (CNST@PoliMI) at the Italian Institute of Technology in Milan.
