Dr. L. Alimi is a Full Professor in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in polymer materials, composites, biomaterials, and advanced materials. She obtained her PhD in 2016 from the University of Badji Mokhtar, Annaba, and her Habilitation to Supervise Research (HDR) in 2019 from the University of 8 Mai 1945 Guelma (Algeria). She was promoted to Full Professor in June 2024. Her research focuses on material design, degradation mechanisms, and industrial applications. She has worked extensively on piping systems, addressing durability, environmental stress cracking, mechanical characterisation, and reliability. She has authored several scientific publications and regularly participates in international conferences on advanced materials.
