Marek Wojtaszek

Marek Wojtaszek, PhD, DSc, is an associate professor at AGH University of Krakow. He specialises in the field of materials science. His research interests include powder metallurgy, thermomechanical processing of metal, alloys and MMC. His scientific work focuses on the relationship between parameters of hot processing, microstructure evolution and material properties of steel and alloys of titanium, aluminium and nickel. He is involved in research related to metal forming processes, modelling, multiscale characterisation and applications of fuzzy logic in process control. He is committed to a wide range of national and international scientific collaborations, participation in joint research projects and other activities regarding advanced materials and processes. He also delivers lectures at AGH and at Universities in Germany.
