Researcher, SCITEC-CNR, Milano Italy

My research focuses on the development of advanced organic and hybrid conjugated materials for applications in electronics, photonics, energy, and sensing, with a focus on green organic electronics, water-soluble conjugated polyelectrolytes, nanomaterials, and sustainable materials and processes for organic semiconductors. My current areas of interest, as confirmed by my publications, include: Design, synthesis, and development of water-/alcohol-soluble conjugated polymers for bioelectronics and interface control in optoelectronic devices; Design and synthesis of pen-type conjugated polymers for electronic, photonic, and biomedical applications; Modulation of electronic properties and study of the structure/property relationship; Development of anti-reflective coatings using microlenses using softlithography techniques; Development of materials for luminescent solar concentrators; Synthesis of rare-earth organometallic complexes for radiation and telecommunications; Synthesis of polyazomethines and polyazines for nanotube wrapping.
