Rubens Caram

Rubens Caram earned his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, and completed postdoctoral research at Clarkson University, USA. He has been a faculty member at UNICAMP since 1984 and became Full Professor in 2001. In 2010, he was a Visiting Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. He published 180 peer-reviewed articles and holds internationally granted patents. His expertise lies in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, with emphasis on Physical Metallurgy, focusing primarily on solidification, additive manufacturing, and the characterization of titanium alloys, high-entropy alloys, and intermetallic compounds.
