Sadegh Askari

Sadegh Askari earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) in 2011 and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Ulster University (UK) in 2014. Since then, he has held various positions as a research fellow and lecturer. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Kiel University (Germany), focusing on catalysts for zinc batteries. His expertise lies in material synthesis, characterization, and electrochemistry for energy storage. His recent research at the Department of Fiber and Polymer Technology at KTH focuses on renewable polymers for binders and coatings, with an emphasis on battery applications.
