Sahin Yakut
Associate Professor,Istanbul University,Turkey
Sahin Yakut is an academic researcher in physics, affiliated with the Istanbul University Faculty of Science, Department of Physics. He received a master's and a PhD from Istanbul University. His work primarily focuses on condensed matter physics, with particular emphasis on dielectric properties, material characterization, and the electrical behavior of advanced materials. His research often explores polymer-based systems, thin films, and nanocomposite structures, contributing to a deeper understanding of structure-property relationships in functional materials.
Sahin Yakut has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in internationally indexed journals, receiving a significant number of citations that reflect the impact and visibility of his work within the scientific community. His studies frequently integrate experimental techniques with theoretical analysis, enabling comprehensive evaluation of material performance. He has also participated in a patent development period on changing glass transition temperature and ductility of asphalt materials by polymer adition at Istanbul University.
In addition to his research contributions, Yakut is actively engaged in interdisciplinary collaborations with research groups in chemistry, biology, civil engineering, and medicine. He has participated in projects related to energy materials and applied physics with the dielectric spectroscopy research group, of which he is one of the members.
