Prof. Dr. Vidmantas Gulbinas

Prof. Dr. Vidmantas Gulbinas has authored more than 200 scientific publications, cited over 3,500 times. He is a leading researcher at the Centre for Physical Sciences and Technology and heads the Department of Molecular Compounds Physics. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics at Vilnius University in 1980 and obtained his PhD in 1988. He has been awarded the Lithuanian National Science Prize. His research interests include ultrafast spectroscopy of molecules and molecular systems, electronic processes in organic and hybrid semiconductors, photon down-conversion and up-conversion, laser microscopy, and quantum optics.
