Dr. Yüksel Çetin

Dr. Yüksel Çetin is a Principal Researcher at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Centre (GMBE), specialising in toxicology, nanotoxicology, tissue engineering, and in vitro 3D organotypic models. She received her PhD in Food Science and Technology with a minor in Toxicology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA. Her research focuses on biocompatibility testing of medical devices, nanoparticle safety, antiviral screening, and bioactivity evaluation of novel therapeutics. She has extensive experience in EU Framework Programmes (FP6, Horizon 2020) and has authored over 30 SCI-indexed publications. Dr. Çetin actively contributes to regulatory toxicology, risk assessment, and translational biomedical research initiatives.
